Furqan Ayub is the founder and principal of NXS Automation — a manufacturing automation engineer and project leader with 14+ years and more than 80 projects delivering complex PLC, SCADA, motion control, and custom manufacturing-software systems.
The work spans the full lifecycle — architecture, development, commissioning, and deployment — across both discrete and process manufacturing, including motion control systems and .NET/custom HMI applications. Much of it has been in regulated environments, where 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, validation discipline, and clean operational handoff aren't optional. PLC and HMI programs are written to industry standards — IEC 61131-3–structured, robust, and built for the engineer who inherits the system, not just the deadline.
Before founding NXS, Furqan managed multi-million-dollar automation projects as a Senior Project Manager at a large automation consultancy, having managed nearly 100 engineers collectively across projects over his career.
